Free Wi-Fi opens at Mangaluru Central

The Mangaluru Central Railway Station here has become the first Railway station in Karnataka to provide free Wi-Fi.
Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the facility today at a function held here.
Kateel said the facility would be available within the railway platforms of the station.
Three other railway stations in the state--Bengaluru, Gulbarga and Hassan--would get connected with Wi-fi soon, he said.
The facility would benefit passengers waiting at the station.
Ivan D Souza, MLC, and Palakkad Division Railway Manager Naresh Laalvaani were also present.
