Freights for select destinations rise on high cargo movements

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations were up by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly led to the rise in freights rates for select destinations.
Freight rates for Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ludhiana were up by Rs 500 each to Rs 14,000, Rs 16,000 and Rs 17,000, respectively.
