Tata Power launches special AC exchange programme in Mumbai * Tata Power, in partnership with Godrej, has launched a scheme in Mumbai to provide up to 50 per cent discount for consumers for exchanging their inefficient air conditioners (ACs) with energy efficient five star rated ACs.
Under 'Energy Efficient 5 Star Split AC New Purchase and Exchange Programme', Tata Power consumers may purchase a new Bureau of Energy Efficiency 5-star rated split AC or exchange their non-star ACs for BEE 5-star rated split ACs and avail a discount of up to 50 percent on maximum retail price for various models of branded ACs up to 1 tonne, 1.5 tonne capacity, the company said in a statement.
CreditMantri partners with Equifax, aims to empower consumers * Credit management services provider CreditMantri today said it has partnered with Equifax to simplify the process for consumers to access their credit score and history for free.
It will help consumers make better credit decisions and get their credit assessment on a near real-time basis, the company said in a statement.
Meanwhile, online financial marketplace, PaisaBazaar.Com also entered into partnership Equifax to offer free credit reports to consumers.

Cholayil aims aggressive expansion in North India * Cholayil, makers of Medimix brand of soaps and healthcare products, today said it aims to expand business in North India and Sri Lanka.
* Realty player Nahar group today launched a luxury residential project in the metropolis.
Spread across one lakh sq ft, the project, 'Excalibur', will house 36 luxury flats of 3BHK with each flat measuring around 2,400 sq ft and priced at up to Rs 12 crore. The building in Jacob Circle area also has a 5BHK penthouse on the top floor.
The city-based firm will invest Rs 210 crore in the project, which is expected to be completed by 2018. It has been funded and mortgaged with ICICI Bank, the company said.

Panasonic launches 4G VoLTE smartphone at Rs 9,490
* Panasonic India today launched a new 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone -- ELUGA A2 -- priced at Rs 9,490.
"Our new smartphone provides a better solution to consumers who want long operational hours on a 4G VoLTE," Panasonic India Business Head Mobility Division Pankaj Rana told reporters.
VoLTE is voice calls over a 4G LTE network rather than 2G or 3G connections that are usually used.

Naturals opens ayurveda salon
* Naturals, a leading hair and beauty salon, today forayed into ayurveda, offering its customers beauty and ayurveda services under one roof.
Being the first of its kind concept salon, NaturalAyur entered into technical collaboration with Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (AVP) and opened the first salon and wellness centre in Coimbatore.
AVP Director P R Krishnakumar said the concept combines ancient ayurveda elements and provides them in a modernised ambience catering to customers' needs.
Veena and C K Kumaravel, founders of Naturals, said they plan to increase the number of Naturals salons to 3,000 in another two years from the present 547 across the country.
They are also looking at international expansion of the NaturalAyur salons.
