Gamesa bags 100MW turnkey orders from Orange Renewable

Renewable energy firm Gamesa has bagged 100 MW turnkey orders from Orange Renewable to set up plants in Gujarat and Karnataka by 2017.
"Gamesa will deliver complete turnkey solutions for a 40 MW project in Gujarat and a 60MW project in Karnataka with supply of 20 units of G114-2.0 MW T106 and 30 units of G97-2.0 MW T104 turbines", city-based company said in a statement.
"Both the projects are scheduled to be commissioned by March 2017," it said.
"We are glad to be partners in growth with Orange Renewable and these repeat orders signify customer trust. We expect to deliver better generation for our clients and contribute positively to India's renewable energy capacity," Gamesa India, CMD, Ramesh Kymal said.
