Gang of bike-lifters busted in Haryana

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of bike-lifters with the arrest of three persons and recovered 17 motorcycles and a scooter from them in Karnal district of Haryana.
Jamshed and Fareed, both residents of Odri, Shamli in Uttar Pradesh and Rajkumar alias Nanha, a resident of Gondar were arrested last evening from National Dairy Research Institute chowk Karnal, a police spokesman said.
During remand, Jamshed and Fareed confessed having committed the crime of theft and revealed their involvement in 15 other such cases of crime while Rajkumar alias Nanha had purchased stolen vehicles from them, the spokesman said.
