Gang of vehicle lifters busted, 25 stolen bikes recovered
Press Trust of India Jaipur Alwar police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of vehicle lifters by arresting its four members and recovered 25 stolen motorcycles from them.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided an area on Jaluki road in Laxmangarh and caught four accused and recovered two stolen bikes and one SUV from them.
The accused were identified as Vikram, Sunil, Kasam and Umar, police said.
Later, the police recovered twenty three more bikes and one car.
The gang had committed vehicle thefts in several areas of Rajasthan and Haryana, the police said.
