The company had posted standalone net profit of Rs 63 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, GE Power India said in a filing to BSE.
Total income of the firm declined to Rs 388.3 crore, from Rs 427.9 crore in the year-ago period, the filing said.
GE Power India's total expenses dropped to Rs 354 crore, compare to Rs 485.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.
The company said in a separate filing that its board has approved the appointment of Andrew H DeLeone as the Managing Director of the company from August 1 for a period of three years, subject to necessary approvals.
