Geeta Koda joins Congress

Former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda's wife, Geeta Koda, Thursday joined the Congress in the presence of party president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi, a senior leader said here.

Congress leader Rajesh Thakur said Geeta Koda, a two-time MLA from the Jagannathpur assembly constituency, joined the Congress in the presence of Gandhi, party's Jharkhand Affairs in-charge R P N Singh, PCC president Ajoy Kumar and former state assembly speaker Alamgir Alam.
