Gehlot felicitates teachers

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot felicitated them at a state-level function here.

The teachers were awarded certificates and cheques of Rs 21,000.

Gehlot on the occasion motivated the teachers to keep the standard of teaching high and said the government on its part was making efforts to take the education sector to new heights.

He said the government was recruiting 41,000 class III teachers whereas over 8,000 class II teachers had already been recruited.
