Genpact to offer BPO services to Delphi in China

BPO major Genpact today said it will set up an operation centre in Suzhou, China, for Delphi Automotive and provide finance and accounting (F&A) business process services to the global auto parts supplier firm.
This will help Delphi transform and streamline its finance operations through a shared services operation.
Delphi is a global supplier of electronics and technologies for passenger and commercial vehicles.
The Michigan-headquartered firm has chosen to establish its Asia-Pacific finance shared services centre in Huaqiao, China, in conjunction with Genpact through a multi-phased partnership.
Currently, 40 employees from Genpact Suzhou are providing F&A services to Delphi, and the company is planning to expand it to up to 100 employees by 2015.

"The cooperation with Delphi is a milestone for us as we grow our facility in Huaqiao into a world-class shared services centre to help more multinational companies establish and expand their operations in the region," Genpact Asia CEO Mudit Saxena said.
Genpact began its operations in China in 2000 and provides services like transaction processing, financial analysis and management, IT support, customer service and employee services.
Genpact Suzhou currently has about 300 employees and plans to expand the services delivery center to 1,000 employees over the next three years in order to provide world-class business process management and technology services for more international companies in China.
