German national robbed of camera in MP

A camera of a German national was allegedly stolen by three bike-borne persons at Orchha, police said today.
"A German tourist Coothart Sievers (80) has registered a complaint that he was robbed of his camera last evening when he was returning after clicking photographs of local heritage sites," said Sub Divisional Officer (Police), Niwari, B K Mahor.
The incident took place when the German national was returning from 'Royal Chhatris' located on the banks of river Betwa, the officer said.
As per the complaint, three bike-borne persons snatched the camera, worth around Rs 40,000 from him and fled away from the spot, Mahor added.
A case was registered in this regard and efforts are on to nab the accused, he said.
