The cultural event- Asmita Parv - has been organised by a trust run by religious leader Morari Bapu at Talgajarda village in Bhavnagar district from April 19-22.
Ghulam Ali was scheduled to perform tonight.
"Due to unavoidable circumstances, Ghulam Ali has informed us that he may not be able to come for the event. Other programs are running as per the schedule. Ali may not come to collect his award too on the last day of the event," said organising committee member J J Mankad.
As per the schedule released by the Trust, Ali along with five others was to be given 'Hanumant Award' on the concluding day of the event on April 22.
On the same day, film actor Dharmendra along with three other artists will be given 'Natraj Award' for their contribution in their chosen field.
