GI Pipes worth Rs 13.5 lakh stolen

Galvanised Iron (GI) pipes worth Rs 13.5 lakh were allegedly stolen by two truck drivers who were ordered to deliver the consignment, from Loni area here, police said today.
Truck driver Shahid and Shailesh Singh, who were ordered to deliver the pipes from Koshi Kalan Haryana to a company in Loni here on May 24 and May 25 respectively, stole pipes worth Rs 13.5 lakh, a police official said.
Later they fled the spot after driving the trucks to the company premises here, he said, adding a case has been lodged in this regard and a manhunt has also been launched to nab both the accused.
