A 19-year-old girl has alleged that she was raped several times by a Zila Parishad member on the pretext of getting her a job with the police.
On the direction of the court, the victim's complaint was yesterday forwarded to the Vaishali Nagar police station for filing of an FIR, ACP Mohesh Choudhary said said today.
According to the FIR, the 35-year-old accused, who is reportedly a member in the Churu Zila Parishad, promised to get the victim a job with the Rajastan Police and raped her in a hotel on this pretext on January 18, 2013, he said.
Also from August 15 to 31, the accused called the victim to Churu and allegedly raped her again. He didn't even give her the job which he had promised, the ACP said.
The victim was not available for her statement, said Vaishali Nagar SHO Surendra Singh.
When the Churu Zila Parishad was today contacted about information on the accused, no one was available to comment due to holiday for the Eid festival.
