Girl attacks rapist, escapes by scaling boundary wall

A young woman facing rape, did what others in her position would almost never think of - attacked her tormentor before escaping from his clutches.
The man, who was known to her, had falsely assured the 21-year-old that he would get her a job here and when she arrived here from her home at Kendrapara, tried to rape her at a deserted factory premise at nearby Mancheswar yesterday.
The woman to save herself attacked the man with stones and scaled the boundary wall of the factory to escape.
Locals spotted her and helped her to lodge a complaint with the police, who corroborated her story.

The accused fled from the city after the incident but was later arrested from Kendrapara, commissioner of police Y B Khurania said.
