The incident took place yesterday when the girl, aged about 17 years, was returning from school.
According to her complaint, three men on two motorcycles offered her a lift but as she refused, they attacked her with a blade which left her injured, the police said.
The accused then escaped from the spot, they said.
The girl narrated the incident to her family members who in turn lodged a complaint with the police against the three men.
