Girl goes missing

A 14-year-old girl went missing
under mysterious circumstances from here, police said today.
In her complaint, the girl's mother Rekha, said that she left home on Thursday but has not returned since then, they said.
The girl's family has alleged that one Mintu, from the same village, has lured the girl on the pretext of marrying her, police said.
A case has been registered under section 363 (Punishment for kidnapping) and 366 (Kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel her marriage) of IPC in this regard.
Efforts are on to find the girl, said investigating officer ASI Sajjan Kumar.

Meanwhile, in another case, a 32-year-old man identified as Saleem Ahmad went missing from Kheri Kalan village here.

Ahmad went missing since April 14, police said, adding, his wife suspects that he has been kidnapped.
A case has been registered under section 365 (Kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) of IPC, ASI Chiranji Lal said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
In yet another case, 60-year-old Nagendra Pandey went missing from here, police said today.
In a complaint filed by his son, Pandey, who retired from CRPF, went missing since Thursday and he suspects that his father has been kidnapped by some unknwon miscreants, police said.
A case has been registered under section 365 of IPC, ASI Suresh Kumar said.
