A girl student of city-based University of Hyderabad allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of a residential apartment complex here today, police said.
The deceased, in her 20s, is a MSc student, they said.
"She jumped from the terrace of the building and died on the spot. No suicide note was found," Assistant Commissioner of Police (Miyapur Division) S Ravi Kumar told PTI.
According to her mother, the girl had called her several times on the mobile but she was unable to pick up her calls. She later received a message from her daughter this afternoon, saying "sorry amma."
