Girl killed as school van collides with truck

A girl student was today killed on the spot while over dozen students sustained injuries when a school van in which they were travelling collided with a truck, police said.
The accident took place on Moga-Amritsar road near Daulewala village, 10 km from here, police said. At the time of accident, there was thick fog.
School van collided with a truck coming from opposite direction, police said.

Meanwhile, a report from Hoshiarpur said the injured students were studying in GRD Public School Tanda.
All the injured students were between the age group of four and 14 years.
