Medical student in Raj commits suicide

A medical student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his residence in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan, police said today.
19-year-old Janved Raigar was a first year MBBS student in a medical college in Jhalawar.
He was suffering from depression due to low marks and hanged himself in his house last night, SHO of Gangdhar police station, Banna Lal said.
Raigar's body was shifted to the district hospital and handed over to family members after postmortem, he said, adding that the matter was under investigation.
