Girl poisoned to death for resisting rape attempt

An 18-year-old girl was poisoned to death when she resisted an attempt to rape her in Tewda village here, police said today.
"The accused identified as Sajid Khan allegedly tried to rape the girl and poisoned her when she opposed the act on Tuesday," police said.
The victim's uncle has filed a complaint against the accused and police have started a search operation against him.
