The incident took place on April 11 when the victim had gone to her coaching centre to fill out some forms. Jagjeet, whom the girl knew through Facebook and his brother Manjeet allegedly kidnapped her from the academy and gave her sedatives, the complaint filed by the girl's father said.
Following this, Jagjeet married her while she was still under the influence of sedatives. He then raped her, police said.
The victim returned home later, they added.
Jagjeet and Manjeet have been booked under various sections of IPC including kidnapping and rape, police said, adding Deputy Magistrate today remanded the duo in police custody for two days.
