Girl suffers head injury as bike hits her near college campus
The incident occurred in the parking area of DB College, Sasthamkotta, yesterday, the police said.
The second-year degree student, who is married, was rushed to a private hospital in Kollam and later brought to a private hospital here after her condition deteriorated.
College Principal Lathish said the incident occurred outside the college campus. The man riding the motorcycle was not a student, but could have come to the campus to inquire about admissions, he said.
It was during 'Onam' celebrations in August this year that a jeep being driven by a student of Government Engineering College here had mowed down a girl student, killing her on the spot.
