Prior to this, he was executive director in-charge (Gas Business) at IOC. He replaces Debasis Sen who superannuated yesterday.
"A Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surat and a Post-Graduate in Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, Satish has over 30 years experience in IOC in the areas of marketing operations, logistics, business development, international trade, natural gas business and human resources," the company said in a statement.

IOC also named Satish as its nominee director on Petronet LNG Ltd to replace Sen.
