The 40th such incident happened at Gate No 17 in the International Departure section, airport officials said, adding that none was injured.
On April 1, a technician was injured when glass section of a door fell on him.
The airport has been witnessing a spate of mishaps such as false ceiling falling and glass panels cracking at the domestic and international terminals, built at a cost of over Rs 2,000 crore and inaugurated by Vice President Hamid Ansari in January 2013.
In October last year, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju visited the airport following complaints regarding deficiencies in development of infrastructure as well as deficiency in maintenance standards.
