The global outreach of Jaipur Foot, a prosthetic limb, is an extension of India's humanitarian intervention, the country's top diplomat to the United States Harsh Vardhan Shringla said Wednesday.
At an 'India for Humanity' event at the US Capitol Hill, organised by the Indian Embassy here as part of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, Shringla said, "The focus today is on the activities of Jaipur Foot in India and in other countries of the world as an extension of the humanitarian intervention of India."
