The competition is being held at the Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology of Cochin University of Science and Technology here.
The event aims to promote the 2015 edition of the Hello Tomorrow Challenge and also to establish local Hello Tomorrow Hubs in hundred selected hotspots worldwide, a press release from the organisers of 'Hello Tomorrow' event said.
Hello Tomorrow is a global organisation which aims at pushing the transformation of innovative technologies into impactful products, it added.
The challenge is open for start-ups and projects which are based on an innovative technology.
Applications can be submitted till February 28 and selected applicants will be called for mentoring session during March-June.
The Grand Finale of Hello Tomorrow Challenge 2015 will be held on June 25.
Kochi is one among the three selected hotspots in India, besides Bengaluru and Delhi.
