GMDC Q2 net rises 10 pc to Rs 73 cr

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) today posted 10 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 72.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 66 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, it said in a filing to BSE.
Total income from operations declined to Rs 247.7 crore, over Rs 253.7 crore in the year-ago period.
The total expenses of the company duirng the July-September quarter increased marginally to Rs 215.5 crore, over Rs 213.7 crore in the year-ago period.
