GMR Infrastructure posts Q4 net loss at Rs 953.5 crore

GMR Infrastructure today reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 953.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 891.9 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income from operations rose 29.12 per cent to Rs 3,708.37 crore during the quarter from Rs 2,872.01 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a regulatory filing.
During the entire 2015-16 fiscal, the company's net loss stood at Rs 2,161 crore as against Rs 2,733.29 crore in the previous financial year.
Net sales in 2015-16 stood at Rs 13,248.18 crore as compared to Rs 10,935.25 crore in 2014-15.
GMR Group is a leading global infrastructure conglomerate with interests in airport, energy, transportation and urban infrastructure.
Shares of GMR Infrastructure were trading at Rs 11.03 a piece, down 4.09 per cent, on the BSE in the morning session.
