A Goa Congress MLA on Tuesday taunted his former colleagues who had last month joined the ruling BJP, and said they were "changing colours like they are changing their underwear".
Ten Congress MLAs, including then Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar, had resigned from the party and joined the BJP, some of whom were then made ministers in the Pramod Sawant cabinet.
Speaking in the Assembly during a motion to congratulate the Centre for abolishing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco said, "Legislators here are changing colours like they are changing underwear and shirts."
