The Goa Legislative Assembly will on Wednesday discuss the issue of operating the app-based cab service, 'Goa Miles', during which a solution is likely to emerge, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Monday.
Traditional tourist taxi operators have been opposing plying of fleet under 'Goa Miles'.
"A half an hour discussion on this issue is scheduled to be held a day after tomorrow during the ongoing session of the Assembly. The solution for the problem would be worked out during the discussion. We have taken down suggestions from all the concerned taxi unions during the meeting today," Sawant said after chairing a meeting of various factions of taxi operators.
State Ports minister Michael Lobo assured that the issue would be resolved.
