Gold bars worth Rs 92 lakh seized from air passenger
Directorate of Intelligence officials, on a tip-off, checked the baggage of one Musthafa (44) who arrived by an Etihad Airways flight at 8.45 am, DRI officials said.
They found the gold bars, weighing 3.244 kg, concealed inside an electric hydraulic jack and a small transformer, the officials said.
The person, a native of Kunnamangalam in the district, is being questioned, they added.
