Gold biscuits worth over Rs 8.40 cr seized, two arrested

About 30 kg of gold biscuits worth Rs 8.40 crore were seized from two persons in the city today.
Police nabbed the two accused while they were waiting for a bus to Ajmer in Vidhayak Puri police station area here and on search two gold biscuits of 15 kg each were recovered from them, SHO Rajender Sharma said.
The two were not carrying proper documents with them.
During preliminary investigation it was found that the two, identified as Shravan Kumar Bishnoi of Sanchore town and Agar Singh Bhadoria of Jaisalmer, were working for a jeweller.
