Gold chain snatched from police officer

A woman assistant sub inspector of Kolkata Police has been robbed of her gold chain when she was returning home from duty, the police said today.
Two bikeborne youths allegedly snatched the chain from the ASI, Nirmala Roy of Tiljala police station, at Picnic Garden area on Sunday, the police said.
In her complaint, Roy alleged that it was the handiwork of locals, the police said.
A snatching case has been started against unknown persons.
