Tracking a weak global trend, gold prices fell 0.43 per cent to Rs 28,932 per 10 grams in futures trading today as speculators trimmed their positions.

Similarly, the yellow metal for delivery in February traded lower by Rs 112, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 29,626 per 10 grams in 4,787 lots.
Market anlysts attributed the fall in gold futures to a weak global trend after the Federal Reserve reduced its stimulus and on speculation demand will slow in China before the Lunar New Year holiday.
