Gold worth Rs 20.5 lakh seized in airport

Customs officials of the NSCBI Airport here today seized 780 gm of gold valued at Rs 20.5 lakh three passengers arriving here from Bangkok.
Airport officials here said the gold was recovered from the bags and wallets of the passengers.
However, the officials said, the three were released as the amount of gold each one was carrying was less than that required to take them into custody legally.
