Gold worth Rs 4.15 kg seized at city Airport

Altogether 4.15 kg of gold bar valued at Rs 1.1 crore has been seized by Customs officers at the NSC Bose International Airport here.
Acting on a tip-off, officers of the customs intelligence recovered the booty from an Indigo aircraft which arrived here from Bangkok last evening, airport officials today said.
The unclaimed gold was kept concealed under a seat.
The person who carried it was yet to be identified, the officials added.
