Gold worth Rs 85 lakh seized from air passenger

About 2.5 kg gold, valued at around Rs 85 lakh, was seized from a man who arrived here from Abu Dhabhi by an early morning flight today, airport officials said.
The man, hailing from Kerala, was found carrying the precious metal in his hand baggage, they said.
Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence have detained him for questioning, the airport officials said.
