Announcing the amount as a mark of honour for Ohodar's feat at a felicitation ceremony at Booty village near here, Das said the state would take necessary initiatives to give him a job, an official release said here.
The state has a provision of three per cent for the handicapped and two per cent for sports persons, it added.
Ohodar had represented India in the Blind Cricket World Cup in England and contributed a key role in the win, the release said.
