Tata Communications said Wednesday Gopichand Katragadda has resigned from its board.
Katragadda was former chief technology officer of Tata Sons. He resigned from Tata Sons in the first week of August.
Katragadda had joined Tata Sons when Cyrus Mistry was heading the group as Chairman.
"Dr Gopichand Katragadda has, in a letter dated September 11, 2018, tendered his resignation as Director from the board of Tata Communications Limited, with immediate effect," Tata Communicatons said on Thursday.
Before joining Tata Group, Katragadda served as the chairman and managing director of GE India Technology Centre.
