'Gotham' casts Michael Chiklis

Actor Michael Chiklis has joined the cast of the upcoming second season of popular Batman prequel series "Gotham".
The former "The Shield" star has landed a regular role as Captain Nathaniel Barnes on the show, reported Aceshowbiz.
According to the show's producers, Barnes is a law and order radical, unafraid of making enemies- on either side of the law.
Chiklis, 51, was recently starred on "American Horror Story: Freak Show".
