The President has asked Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Haryana, to discharge the functions of Governor of Punjab, in addition to his own duties till further orders and also as administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh vice Shivraj V Patil who completes his tenure on January 21, 2015, a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement said.
It said Kalyan Singh, Governor of Rajasthan, will discharge the functions of Governor of Himachal Pradesh, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
