The orderof the Local Administration Department of Puducherry published in the Gazette today said each of the elected and nominated legislators of Puducherry would be eligible to get annually Rs two crore from Rs one crore available so far under the scheme.
The hike in allocation follows the assurance the Chief Minister had given in the Assembly in the last session for implementation of schemes in the constituencies, the order said.
The Department will incorporate the provision of funds accordingly in the draft annual plan for fiscal 2017-2018.
