Govt hosp doc arrested on bribery charge

A doctor at Amrit Kaur government hospital in Beawar was today arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 for performing a surgery on a girl.
According to an official spokesperson, one Shambhuram of Beawar had lodged a case against Dr CL Bhati claiming he had demanded the bribe for doing a surgery on his sister.
The accused was caught at his residence while accepting the bribe from the complainant, the spokesperson said, adding that a case under prevention of corruption Act has been lodged in this connection.
