"The e-biz project has started with an objective of providing government services through a single-window portal. In the pilot phase, it is proposed to integrate 50 services comprising 26 central government and 24 state services," Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
She said that so far, 20 central government services have been integrated with the e-biz portal.
Ten states, including Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra and West Bengal, have been identified for rolling out 24 state government services in the pilot phase.
India has been ranked 130th among the 189 countries in the World Bank report on ease of doing business.
