Unveiling the last full-year budget of the BJP-led NDA government before the General Elections next year, Jaitley said 306 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras have been established for imparting skill training through such centres.
The budget documents showed that the proposed outlay to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has been raised to Rs 3,400 crore in 2018-19, as against the revised estimate of Rs 2,356.22 crore in the current financial year.
