Govt taking steps to develop AP on all fronts: DyCM

Andhra Pradesh deputy Chief Minister N Chinna Rajappa today said the government is taking all necessary steps to develop the state on all fronts.
"Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is taking all steps to develop Andhra Pradesh on all fronts. He has visited many countries and invited them to investment in Andhra Pradesh," Chinna Rajappa said, adding the CM is keen in developing Andhra Pradesh on all aspects by 2029.
He was speaking at 'Nava Nirman Deeksha' here.
"Efforts are on to construct the new capital on 33,000 acres of land in Amaravati and bhoomi poojan (earthbreaking) will be performed on June 6," he added.
Even though the state has Rs 16,000 crore deficit budget, the state government has initiated several welfare schemes for the development of all sections of people, he said.
"A tourism development project with investment of Rs 80 crore has been planned for East Godavari district," he said, adding Kakinada LNG terminal and port are being developed.
