During the period between June 1 to 25, Noida Sector 58 police station has topped the list with 87 grades among the Noida's six police stations, said Preetinder Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police.
Sector 20 police station, with 84 grades, was second in the list.
"If the grading of any police station remains low, action will be taken against the SHO," Singh said.
Grading system will imbibe efficiency, and motivate the police force as their performance appraisal will be done regularly, the SSP said.
"The system will bring healthy competition and policemen will do better to score better. Grades are given for good work , solving cases, arresting criminals and gangster act arrests. Their behaviour with public and public feedback," said Singh.
