The company had posted a net profit of Rs 26.97 crore in the April-June quarter of last fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing.
Its net sales during the quarter under review was up 9.25 per cent to Rs 414.90 crore as against Rs 379.74 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Commenting on results, Greenply Industries Joint Managing Director and CEO Shobhan Mittal said: "Our operating performance and margins have improved through controlling costs and reducing wastage. Plywood business has improved both in topline and operating margins and we will strive to maintain the growth achieved in this quarter."
