Groundnut oil recovers on renewed demand, weak arrivals

Groundnut oil prices recovered smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on renewed demand from stockist and retailers on the back of lower arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein softened due to lower retail buying support.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slipped following subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
On the other hand, linseedoil held stable in the absence of any large scale buying activity.
In the edible section, Groundnut oil climbed by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 965 from last Saturday's level of Rs 955, However, refined palmolein edged down by a Re per 10kg to Rs 505.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold slipped by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,000 from last weekend level of Rs 4,025 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 830 as against Rs 835 previously.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 785 per 10kg.
